Don't let it fool you. The timesheet component of Zubifi is rather robust and should meet the needs of most businesses. It supports multiple users, invoicing, hourly pricing by customer and service, and more.
Your company comes with a complete multi-user time-sheeting solution. As an administrator you can invite users to your company and grant them permission to enter their timesheets and then make that data available in reports and convert those entries into invoices to send to your customers.
To create a timesheet entry select the “My Timesheet” link from the user icon at the top right of the screen or click on the “Enter Timesheet” button in the PLUS menu (located with the other new item buttons).
On the timesheet entry screen you can enter the workday, the number of hours, the service you performed, the contact to bill the entry to, and a description of the work performed. New lines are automatically added as you enter each entry and when complete just click “Save” to save your changes. You can view older entries or see a longer range of time by clicking the “Filter” button. The default view is for just one day worth of entries.
If you have permission, you can view other user's timesheets by clicking on the name in the top right corner of the line items box. This will present you with a list of users and clicking on one will switch your timesheet view to their account for you to enter and modify timesheet entries.
You can also set the default workday by choosing “Set Workday” under the user icon at the top right of the screen. The workday will default all dates to whatever value you set and it defaults to the current day's date.
You can create invoices based on timesheet entries and while doing so you can choose the level of information to include in the invoices. For example, you may want to include the descriptions that your users entered while filling out their timesheet, or you may choose to hide those and only show the service totals.
Timesheet invoicing also uses the Products & Services prices which are customizable by service, contact, and—in the case of timesheets—your users. (View and modify your pricing under the Advanced link on the product page.)
To create a timesheet invoice go to the Timesheet Invoicing option under the Company menu.
Once you've made your selection for which client or clients to create invoices you are presented with the options for what features to include on the invoice. These include whether you want to display the descriptions your users entered, your user's names, and if you want to add your invoices to one of the print or email queues.
After your invoices are created the are viewable and editable just like any other invoice item and any timesheet entries included on the invoices will be marked as “Billed” (and shown as checked if viewed in the individual timesheet).
